As of October 10, 2011, she is ranked 20th on the WTA rankings.[3] She beat Dinara Safina to win the 2008 French Open and was the runner-up in singles at the 2007 French Open[4] and the 2008 Australian Open. Sabine Lisicki has won three WTA singles tournaments


Sabine Katharina Lisicki (born 22 September 1989 in Troisdorf) is a German professional tennis player of Polish background.

Lisicki has won three WTA singles tournaments in her career (one in 2009 and two in 2011) and one doubles tournament (in 2011). She reached the semifinals of the 2011 Wimbledon Championships and also reached the quarterfinals of the 2009 Wimbledon Championships. She achieved her career high rank of World No. 17 on 12 September 2011. After struggling with injuries in 2010, Lisicki rebounded in 2011 and re-entered the top 100 of the world rankings. She is only the second player in Wimbledon history to make it to the semifinals while entering the tournament as a wildcard.

Ana Isabel Medina Garrigues (born 31 July 1982 in Torrent, Valencia), better known as Anabel Medina, is a Spanish female tennis player. She reached a career high WTA Tour ranking of No. 16 on 4 May 2009, and has won 10 singles titles and 14 doubles titles, including the 2008 French Open and 2009 French Open with Virginia Ruano Pascual. Like many of her Spanish compatriots, she is a very crafty clay court specialist who grinds to win most of her rallies. However, unlike most of her fellow Spaniards, she prefers to play on hard courts. She won the WTA tournament in Strasbourg, France, beating Katarina Srebotnik in the final in May 2008, thus defending the title she won the previous year against Amélie Mauresmo.
